more precious than emerald,
ruby and diamond. It is the greatest invention the world has ever seen. I believe that the above words are no exaggeration. Because without glass daylight would not fill our homes. Electric bulb, television, computer, telescope, microscope, would be unknown. Man would not be in space, since there can not be a spaceship without glass observation holes. We would not have reached the present civilization level without glass. Mankind owes a lot to the Phoenicians, the inventors of glass.
